About Patrick D. Willis
Patrick D. Willis has enjoyed a twenty plus year career in the non-profit community. He has participated in some of the most meaningful and game-changing capital campaigns in the East Texas Region and created some of the area’s most memorable Special Events. His scope of services includes all areas of Philanthropic Counsel. In addition, he has spent the past three decades involved in local, state and national political campaigns and a myriad of public relations endeavors. There is no denying his passion for this region of the state.
In his own volunteer experiences, Patrick enjoys sponsoring shows and lectures at The University of Texas at Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center where he has done so for the past decade. He is a lifetime member of the Cowan Center Advisory Board, a member of the Cowan Center Performance Excellence Endowment Committee, and served as a director of the UT Tyler Alumni Association for ten years. He was appointed as the Alumni Board’s Chairman in 2001. Patrick is a member of the UT System Chancellor’s Council and has been a member of the UT Tyler President’s Associates since 2004.
He has been active with the Texas Rose Festival, where he serves as The Thursday Luncheon Celebration Co-Chairman during Festival Week and is a Summer Kick-Off Party Host. He is a member of the Order of the Rose, serving as the Queen’s Ball Usher Chairman. Patrick is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Tyler Rose Museum and has chaired the museum’s annual Winter Gala for 2017 and 2018.
Patrick is a member of the Development Committee of All Saints Episcopal School and is on the Smith County Bar Foundation Board of Directors.
He was presented the W.C. Windsor Award as the Tyler outstanding citizen under the age of 40 for 2014. He is a grateful member of Christ Episcopal Church.
He is the proud father of Vivian, age 13; Jackson, age 10; and Mary Caroline, age 5 who attend All Saints Episcopal School.
